As a former competitive athlete, Jingyi was exploring alternative sports/exercises when she stumbled upon Pilates. She then found out how much it complemented the sports she was partaking, allowing her body to workout in different aspects.
After a hiatus due to family commitment, Jingyi picked up Pilates again as a form of exercise; she appreciates the mindful body movements in Pilates that enhance her overall being – feeling worked and yet refreshed after every session. She has since noticed an improvement in her overall strength, body posture and other benefits of Pilates that integrates well with other activities she is involved in. This has prompted her to become a Pilates instructor – hoping to share her knowledge with everyone, regardless of their fitness levels, as she believes that everyone can benefit from Pilates.
