Elaine was not naturally an “exercise person” to begin with. Her journey with Pilates started simply out of curiosity and a desire to improve her health and fitness. What drew her in was how Pilates is low-impact yet highly effective in building strength, making it both approachable and sustainable.

As Elaine practiced regularly, she began to appreciate how Pilates requires focus and intention—working with correct alignment, controlled movement, and mindful breathing. Over time, she noticed improvements not only in her posture, but also in her overall strength, body awareness, and fitness level. Pilates helped Elaine move better, feel stronger, and become more connected to her body in daily life.

Through this journey, she truly fell in love with Pilates and naturally found herself sharing its benefits with the people around her. Wanting to deepen her understanding and help others experience the same positive changes, she decided to take STOTT PILATES® Instructor Training Course. Becoming a Pilates instructor allows her to combine her passion with knowledge, so she can guide and support others in building strength, improving posture, and moving with confidence through Pilates.
